This movie was adapted from the memoir: Traveling to Infinity: My Life with Stephen by Jane Hawking. It talked about the love story and life between Jane Hawking and her ex-husband.

這部電影是改編自潔恩．霍金的回憶錄：Traveling to Infinity: My Life with Stephen，這是在描述潔恩與她前夫之間的愛的故事以及他們的生活。

Stephen Hawking is a famous English astrophysicist. His fields of study are General relativity and Quantum gravity. Because of his contribution to physics, he is also considered one of the most outstanding physicists after Einstein.

史蒂芬．霍金是一位的英國天文物理學家，他的研究領域是廣義相對論以及量子力學。由於他在物理上的貢獻，他也被認為是既愛因斯坦之後最傑出的物理學家之一。

The story began in Cambridge University. Stephen Hawking was an astrophysics student, and Jane was a literature student. They met at a party and started relationship very quickly. During that time, Hawking was diagnosed with a rare disease called Amyotrophic Sclerosis (ALS). ALS would cause motor neuron degeneration and atrophy, and prevent him from moving. Jane thought this was a challenge that God gave her, so she married Hawking. After they got married, Jane took care of Hawking in every way, this gave Hawking have time to do his research.

故事源起於劍橋大學，史蒂芬．霍金是一個天文物理學的學生，而潔恩則是文學系的學生，他們在一個舞會上相遇並且很快的墜入愛河。在那段期間，霍金被診斷出患有一種罕見的疾病叫做肌萎縮性脊髓硬化症(漸凍人症)（ALS）。 ALS會引起運動神經元病變及萎縮，最後會讓他無法行動。潔恩認為這是上帝給她的一個挑戰，於是她嫁給霍金。他們結婚後，潔恩照顧霍金的一切生活事物，這也給了霍金時間可以做自己的研究。

In order to decrease her stress, Jane participated in the church chorus. There she knew Jonathan Jones. Helping Jane, gradually Jones became close Hawking’s family. However, Hawking’s condition was getting worse which made Jane more and more reliant on Jones. On the other hand, Hawking also fell in love with his personal nurse, Elaine. Finally they broke up and ended their marriage. They married others. Jane married Jones and Hawking married Elaine.

為了要減少壓力，潔恩參加了教會的合唱團。在那裡，她認識了喬納森．瓊斯。因為幫助潔恩，瓊斯慢慢與霍金的家人越來越親近。然而，霍金的病情正在惡化，這也讓潔恩越來越依賴瓊斯。在另一方面，霍金也愛上了他的個人看護蓮恩。最後他們分手了並且結束他們的婚姻。他們分別與別人結婚。潔恩嫁給了瓊斯和霍金結則與蓮恩結婚。

Stephen Hawking made great contributions to science. Jane’s support had a great effect. It is a pity that after their 30 years marriage they finally broke up.

史蒂芬．霍金能在科學上有卓越的貢獻，潔恩的支持有很大的影響。很可惜的是他們近30年的婚姻最後還是分手了。
